Namaa Charity Distributes Over 700 School Bags to Orphaned Students and Needy Families Across Kuwait

Kuwait City, Sept 10 (KUNA) — Namaa Charity, affiliated with the Al-Isalah Social Association, distributed more than 700 school bags to orphaned students and children from low-income families within Kuwait, aiming to meet their educational needs and alleviate the financial burdens on their families at the start of the academic year.

Khalifa Al-Qabandi, Director of Programs and Initiatives at Namaa Charity, told the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the project reflects Namaa’s focus on education and its commitment to supporting orphaned students and children from low-income families. He emphasized that providing school supplies helps ease the financial pressures on beneficiary families as they prepare for the new school year.

Al-Qabandi added that the distribution of school bags carries a humanitarian message aimed at encouraging students to continue their education and providing them with suitable conditions to begin the academic year without financial constraints hindering their ambitions.

He noted that education is one of the key empowerment pathways that Namaa strives to support, underscoring the importance of investing in students’ education and assisting families in meeting their children’s educational needs, thereby granting them better opportunities for success and excellence.

He clarified that the project embodies the spirit of social solidarity in Kuwaiti society and reflects the dedication of benefactors to supporting the most vulnerable groups.
