Presidents of the UAE and Germany Discuss Ways to Enhance Political and Economic Partnership

Berlin, Sept 10 (KUNA) -- UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held talks with his German counterpart, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, on Thursday to discuss ways to enhance and elevate the political and economic partnership between the two countries to a new level. The Federal Chancellery said in a statement that the German president received his UAE guest, who arrived in Berlin today on a two-day state visit, with official and military honors. The statement added that both sides are scheduled to hold a series of meetings, with the German president hosting an official dinner in honor of the UAE guest in the evening. According to the visit program issued by the German government, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed will meet with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz during the visit, with several agreements expected to be signed between the two countries.
