Finance Minister Discusses Development and Investment Cooperation with Senegal's Minister Attached to the Minister of Economy and Finance

Kuwait City, September 10 (KUNA) – Kuwait’s Minister of Finance, Dr. Yaqoub Al-Rafai, held talks today, Thursday, with Bassiro Sar, Minister-Delegate to the Minister of Economy, Finance and Planning and Budget in the Republic of Senegal, discussing a number of areas of developmental and investment cooperation that would benefit both countries.

The Ministry of Finance said in a press release that the meeting reviewed several financial and economic topics and potential areas of cooperation in the coming period, against the backdrop of the distinguished relations between the two friendly countries.

It noted that this meeting takes place within the framework of the Senegalese minister’s official visit to the State of Kuwait. The meeting was attended by Hassan Sougou, Senegal’s Ambassador to Kuwait, and a number of officials from the Ministry of Finance and the Senegalese Embassy in the country. (End) A.M.H.
