Bahrain and Egypt Foreign Ministers Discuss Latest Developments in the Regional Situation

Manama, Sept 9 (KUNA) -- Bahraini Foreign Minister Dr. Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani held discussions with Egyptian Foreign Minister and Minister of International Cooperation, Badr Abdelatty, on the latest developments in the region’s current situation. The Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that the two ministers discussed, during a telephone call on Wednesday, diplomatic efforts aimed at de-escalating tensions to contribute to enhancing security, stability, and peace in the region. The call also covered the various dimensions of the close, historic fraternal relations between the two countries across different fields, with both sides keen on developing and elevating these ties to broader horizons that serve the interests of both countries and their peoples.
