Turkish-French talks addressed developments in the Strait of Hormuz, Palestine, and Syria

Istanbul, Sept 9 (KUNA) -- Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held talks with his French counterpart Jean-Noël Barrot on Wednesday, discussing a number of issues of mutual interest, most notably developments concerning the Strait of Hormuz and the situations in Palestine and Syria. The Turkish Anadolu Agency, citing sources in the Turkish Foreign Ministry, reported that the discussion took place during a phone call between Ministers Fidan and Barrot, in which they reviewed recent developments at the regional and international levels. The agency added that the two sides addressed developments related to the Strait of Hormuz, the ongoing war in the region, and efforts aimed at reaching a resolution to the Russia-Ukraine war, as well as recent developments in the Palestinian territories and Syria.
