One killed in Israeli occupation airstrike in southern Lebanon
Beirut, Sept 9 (KUNA) -- The Israeli occupation army launched an airstrike today, Wednesday, firing a guided missile that targeted a motorcycle on the Marj (Harrouf-Zabadan) road in southern Lebanon, killing one person. The Lebanese National News Agency reported that the Israeli air force also struck Wadi Zebqin in the Sidon district and Wadi Al-Salouqi in the Bint Jbeil district. Meanwhile, occupation forces continued their shelling operations in the south, carrying out an explosion at Al-Qantara, near the border in the Marjayoun district, and another major blast in the coastal town of Mansouri, south of Sidon. Israeli occupation forces have recently escalated the pace of their airstrikes and artillery bombardments on villages and towns in the south, causing significant losses in property and lives.
