Algeria strongly condemns and denounces the attacks that targeted several cities in Saudi Arabia

Algiers, Aug 8 (KUNA) -- Algeria today strongly condemned and denounced the targeting of the Saudi Arabian cities of Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan, and Najran by attacks that resulted in the injury of civilians, including women and children, reaffirming its full solidarity with the Kingdom. In a statement, Algeria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, “In light of these despicable attacks, Algeria reaffirms its full solidarity with fraternal Saudi Arabia and reiterates its support for the measures the Kingdom is taking to protect its security and stability and to safeguard its national sovereignty.” It also called for “an immediate halt to these attacks and to all forms of escalation in the region.” Earlier today, Saudi Arabia announced that 73 civilians had been injured in attacks carried out by Houthi militias against economic sites and civilian landmarks in four of its cities.
