Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq condemns attacks on Saudi Arabia

Erbil, Sept 8 (KUNA) – The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) of Iraq today condemned the attacks that targeted economic facilities in several cities of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which resulted in injuries among civilians, particularly women and children. In a statement, the KRG’s Department of External Relations expressed its full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its people, reiterating its firm rejection of attacks on civilians and civilian infrastructure, as well as any acts that endanger the lives of innocents, deeming such practices contrary to human values. The department also affirmed that peace and dialogue are the best means to address crises and conflicts, and that continued escalation and violence will only deepen instability in the region, negatively affecting the populations and their security.
