National Celebrations Committee Holds Meeting Chaired by Acting Minister of Information to Discuss Early Preparations for National Holidays

Kuwait, Sept 8 (KUNA) – The Standing Committee for Celebrating National Holidays and Occasions held its meeting today, Tuesday, chaired by the Committee’s chairman, Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology Affairs and Acting Minister of Media and Culture, Omar Al-Omar, with the attendance of Sheikh Athat Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Chairperson of the Volunteer Work Center, and representatives from several relevant government entities.

The Ministry of Media said in a press statement today that the meeting discussed several agenda items related to the committee’s operational mechanisms, early preparations for national holiday celebrations, and the organization of events and occasions. It also examined ways to enhance coordination and cooperation among the concerned government entities.

The statement quoted Minister Al-Omar emphasizing the importance of unifying efforts and integrating roles among various entities to ensure that national celebrations and events are organized in a manner befitting the stature of the State of Kuwait and reflecting its values and national identity, in accordance with the highest standards of organization and coordination.
