Oman condemns attacks targeting civilian and economic facilities in Saudi Arabia

Muscat, Sept 8 (KUNA) -- Oman expressed its condemnation today, Tuesday, of the attacks that targeted civilian and economic facilities in several cities of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a fraternal nation, reaffirming its solidarity with the Kingdom. The Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a press release that the Sultanate reiterates its rejection of targeting civilians, civilian infrastructure, commercial vessels, and any actions that threaten the security and safety of maritime navigation. It also called for concerted efforts to contain tensions and create conditions for de-escalation and understanding, thereby paving the way for political and peaceful resolutions that safeguard the security and stability of the region.
