Kuwaiti official: Gulf honor is a motivation to continue excellence in regulatory work

Manama, Sept 8 (KUNA) -- Mashal Al-Filakaawi, Director of the Technical Office of the Acting Auditor General, affirmed here on Tuesday that his recognition among outstanding employees of the audit and accounting institutions of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states represents an appreciation of the efforts made in the field of audit work and reflects the Gulf interest in motivating and encouraging audit cadres to continue excelling and contributing.

This statement was made by Al-Filakaawi to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on the sidelines of the 23rd meeting of the heads of audit and accounting institutions of the GCC states, held in the Kingdom of Bahrain, with the participation of Auditor General Essam Al-Roumi and his accompanying delegation, during which a number of outstanding employees in the Gulf audit bodies were honored.

Al-Filakaawi expressed his pride in representing the Court of Accounts as the supreme audit institution of the country and in earning the trust of its leadership, emphasizing that this recognition and representation embody the excellence of all employees at the Court and are the fruit of a professional career spanning more than 29 years in audit work.

He pointed out that sincerity of intention in performing all tasks and responsibilities is among the most important factors contributing to achieving excellence in various fields of work, alongside a commitment to continuous learning and professional development and staying abreast of the latest developments in the field of the profession.

He also stressed the importance of perseverance, commitment, respect for working hours, and making the best use of time to accomplish professional tasks with proficiency, efficiency, and effectiveness. He highlighted the necessity of providing support and assistance by making information and data available to all members of the Court without exception, building good and fruitful relationships with colleagues, and enhancing teamwork.
