Egypt condemns attacks targeting several Saudi cities

Cairo, Sept 8 (KUNA) — Egypt today strongly condemned the missile and drone attacks that targeted the Saudi Arabian cities of Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan, and Najran, which resulted in the injury of dozens of civilians, including women and children. In a statement, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs characterized the attacks as a serious escalation and a violation of Saudi sovereignty, posing a threat to the security and safety of its people. It expressed full solidarity with fraternal Saudi Arabia and reaffirmed Egypt’s steadfast support in confronting any threats to its security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, while unequivocally rejecting the targeting of civilians and civilian infrastructure.
