Deputy Foreign Minister Discusses with Acting UNRWA Commissioner Support for Efforts to Provide Humanitarian Services

Cairo, Sept 7 (KUNA) -- Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Hamad Al-Mushaan met with Christian Saunders, Acting Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), on the sidelines of the 166th ordinary session of the Arab League Council at the ministerial level, held at the Arab League Secretariat General headquarters in Cairo. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement on Monday that the meeting discussed ways to support the agency’s efforts in delivering humanitarian services to Palestinian refugees and the challenges facing its operations.
