Launch of AIM Investment Summit 2026 in Dubai with participation from the State of Kuwait

Dubai, Jan 7 (KUNA) -- The AIM Investment Summit 2026 kicked off today, Monday, in the Emirate of Dubai, with participation from the State of Kuwait, represented by Minister of Finance Dr. Yaqoub Al-Rafai, alongside a select group of government officials, decision-makers, investors, and business leaders from around the world. The summit is being held at the Dubai World Trade Centre and will last for three days under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, under the theme “Reshaping Global Prosperity: Unlocking New Investment Pathways Toward a Sustainable and Inclusive Future.”
Speaking to KUNA on the sidelines of his participation as part of the Kuwaiti delegation, Consul General of Kuwait in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, Khaled Al-Zayani, said that Kuwait’s participation reflects its commitment to maintaining an active presence at international economic and investment forums, exchanging views and expertise, and enhancing cooperation and building partnerships that serve mutual interests.
Al-Zayani praised the UAE’s excellent organization of the summit and its broad international participation, emphasizing that Dubai’s hosting of this important economic event underscores its status as a global hub for business and investment, and as a platform bringing together decision-makers, investors, and business leaders to discuss economic opportunities and challenges and to envision new horizons for cooperation and investment.
In its 15th edition, the summit addresses global economic challenges and new investment opportunities, ways to strengthen international cooperation and cross-border partnerships, as well as the transformations underway in the global economy in areas such as the digital economy, sustainability, innovation, and future economic sectors.
The summit’s work is built around three main pillars: “Global Markets,” “Future Economies,” and “The Next Generation,” as part of efforts to explore new investment trends, enhance partnerships between governments, the private sector, and investors, and support sustainable and inclusive economic growth.
The summit features a series of conferences, dialogue sessions, roundtables, and workshops, in addition to an international exhibition, investor-opportunity matchmaking meetings, signing of memoranda of understanding, and a competition for startups and emerging companies.
The AIM Investment Summit annually brings together top government officials, investors, and business leaders to discuss the most pressing global economic challenges and explore investment opportunities in emerging markets and future sectors, thereby contributing to the establishment of new economic and investment partnerships.
The summit’s proceedings will continue until next Wednesday, with broad participation from representatives of governments, investment institutions, the private sector, and international organizations. (End) S X M
