Kuwait City, Sept 7 (KUNA) -- September 7 ---------------- 1961 - Kuwaiti Amir Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salim Al-Sabah issues Law No. 26 of 1961 concerning the National Flag of Kuwait, mandating its display in all government offices and institutions. 1964 - Kuwait joins the Arab Organization for Administrative Sciences, a specialized agency emanating from the League of Arab States. 1990 - Kuwait signs the Convention on the Rights of the Child, adopted by the United Nations in November 1989. 2011 - The Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development signs a loan agreement with the Kyrgyz Republic amounting to 4.14 million Kuwaiti dinars to help finance a project to rehabilitate a major road there. 2017 - Kuwait and the United States of America sign an agreement on joint customs cooperation and a memorandum of understanding on technical cooperation between the two countries. 2019 - Mishaan Al-Asimi passes away at the age of 70.
