Riyadh, Sept 6 (KUNA) -- Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan held talks today with British Foreign Secretary David Miliband on regional and international developments, with a focus on current developments in the region and their repercussions on security and stability. The Saudi Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the discussion took place during a phone call received by Prince Faisal bin Farhan from Miliband, during which they discussed the importance of intensifying diplomatic efforts to de-escalate tensions, enhance the security and safety of international waterways, and guarantee freedom of maritime navigation, thereby contributing to the protection of supply chains and international trade flows.
