Kuwait Premier League (Zain): Kazma defeats Al-Shabab 3-2 to conclude Round 3

Kuwait City, Sept 6 (KUNA) — Kazma Club defeated Al-Shabab 3-2 on Sunday to conclude the matches of the third round of the Zain Premier League. At the Al-Shabab Stadium, Kazma secured all three points against their hosts in an exciting match that saw five goals scored and showcased a high level of technical play from both sides.
In the first half, Kazma took the lead through player Shuaib Al-Khalidi in the 26th minute. Al-Shabab equalized in the 34th minute via Matheus Toto, who scored with a long-range shot from outside the penalty area, ending the half with a 1-1 draw.
The second half was marked by intense competition after Al-Shabab scored their second goal early in the half, in the 49th minute, with an acrobatic finish that found the back of the net. Kazma then pushed for an equalizer and succeeded when player Trulles Knoell scored the second goal in the 78th minute from a penalty kick.
In the final minutes, Kazma intensified their attacking efforts in search of the winning goal, eventually succeeding when player Nasser Mohammed scored the third goal in the 86th minute, securing the three points for his team.
Kazma moved to seven points at the top of the table, ahead of Kuwait, who sit second on goal difference, while Al-Shabab remained on four points in sixth place.
Results from the round also saw Al-Qadsia, Kuwait, Al-Fahaheel, Al-Salmiya, and Kazma defeat Al-Nasr, Al-Jahra, Al-Tadamun, Al-Sahel, and Al-Shabab, respectively, while Al-Arabi drew with Al-Salibikhaat.
The league will pause temporarily after this round as the national team prepares to compete in the Gulf Cup, which begins on the 23rd of this month, with training sessions set to start tomorrow, Monday. (End) S.A.D./T.A.B.
