English League: Arsenal defeats Chelsea in the London derby, two goals to one

London, Sept 6 (KUNA) -- Arsenal defeated their guests and rivals Chelsea 2-1 in the London derby played on Sunday at the Emirates Stadium, as part of the third round of the English Premier League. Chelsea took an early lead in the second minute of the first half through English player Morgan Rogers, but German Kai Havertz equalized for the hosts in the 25th minute. Five minutes into the second half, Norwegian Martin Odegaard scored Arsenal’s second goal, ending the match with a 2-1 victory for the home side. In another match played today, which concluded the round’s fixtures, Everton and Manchester United drew 2-2.
