(Ministry of Interior) Conducts Security Operation to Arrest Violators and Wanted Persons in Al-Salmi Scrapyard and Umghara Area

Kuwait City, Sept 6 (KUNA) -- The Ministry of Interior, through its Criminal Security Sector, conducted a security operation in the Al-Salmiya scrap area and the Umghara district, as part of ongoing security efforts to apprehend violators and wanted individuals and enforce the law. In a press statement on Sunday, the Ministry said the operation resulted in the registration of 43 violations of the Labor Law by holders of Article 18 residency permits, and the apprehension of 22 violators of the Residency Law by holders of Article 20 residency permits. It added that three individuals with outstanding absence reports were apprehended, two individuals involved in diesel theft cases were detained, street vendors were apprehended, and a Kuwaiti national subject to an arrest warrant in connection with a drug case was also detained.
