Omani Sultan and French President reaffirm the importance of intensifying diplomatic efforts to support regional security

Muscat, Sept 6 (KUNA) -- Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman and French President Emmanuel Macron emphasized today, Sunday, the importance of continuing and intensifying diplomatic efforts and initiatives to help consolidate the foundations of security and peace in the region and worldwide. The Omani News Agency reported that this came during a telephone conversation between the two sides, during which they exchanged views on the most prominent current issues and developments on the regional and international fronts. The agency added that they discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to build on the growing cooperation and partnership they are witnessing, in a manner that serves mutual interests and fulfills the aspirations of their peoples.
