(Health) Lebanese: 4 dead and 20 injured in Israeli occupation airstrikes in the south

Beirut, Sept 6 (KUNA) -- Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Health announced on Sunday that the preliminary toll from Israeli occupation army airstrikes in southern Lebanon stood at four dead and 20 wounded. In a statement, the ministry said the casualties in the town of Nabetiye al-Fawqa amounted to two dead and several wounded, while in the Rahbat neighborhood of Nabatieh city, eight people were injured, including a woman and a child. The center added that an airstrike on the town of Arab Salim killed two and injured six, including two girls, and that four people were injured in the town of Kafr Rumman. Earlier on Sunday, the Israeli occupation army launched a series of airstrikes targeting several areas in the south, causing damage to Gandour Hospital in Nabetiye al-Fawqa. It is recalled that the Emergency Operations Center under Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Health announced on Saturday that the toll of the Israeli occupation’s aggression on Lebanon since March 2 had risen to 4,358 dead and 12,359 wounded, bringing the overall casualty count of the aggression since October 8, 2023, to 8,925 dead and 30,595 wounded.
