Kuwait Premier League (Zain): Al-Fahaheel defeats Al-Tadamun 4-1 in Round 3

Kuwait City, Sept 5 (KUNA) -- Al-Fahaheel Club defeated Al-Tadamun 4-1 at the Naif Al-Dabous Stadium in the third round of the Zain Premier League.

The hosts, Al-Fahaheel, opened the scoring in the first minute through Ranga Chafaviro, then maintained pressure and launched attacks throughout a half that saw numerous chances for both sides, with Al-Tadamun attempting to mount a comeback and score on several occasions.

In the second half, Sharihedh Al-Sharihedh doubled Al-Fahaheel’s lead in the 65th minute. Al-Tadamun then narrowed the deficit through an Abdulrahman Al-Rashidi header in the 61st minute. However, Abdulrahman Al-Taweel restored the two-goal cushion for Al-Fahaheel in the 81st minute, and his teammate Vitor Vieira added a fourth goal in the 90th minute.

This victory marks Al-Fahaheel’s first win of the season, following setbacks and defeats in their previous two matches against Al-Qadsia and Al-Nasr. Meanwhile, Al-Tadamun suffered their third consecutive loss, after stumbling against Kazma and Al-Salmiya in the preceding two rounds.

The third-round fixtures will resume tomorrow, Sunday, with two matches: Al-Salmiya will face Al-Sahel at the Al-Salmiya Stadium, while Al-Shabab will take on Kazma at the Al-Shabab Stadium. (End) M.Y.M./R.J.
