Presidents of the UAE and Turkey Discuss Bilateral Relations and Regional Developments in Phone Call

Abu Dhabi, September 4 (KUNA) -- The President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, held a telephone conversation with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan today, Friday, to discuss various avenues of cooperation and collaboration between the two countries and ways to enhance them in a manner that serves their developmental priorities and shared interests, and brings benefits to their peoples. The Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported that the two sides reviewed a number of issues and topics of mutual interest, with regional developments and the efforts being made to address them taking precedence. The agency added that both sides emphasized the need to intensify efforts to consolidate the foundations of security and stability in the Middle East region and to advance toward a sustainable peace process for the benefit of all the peoples and states of the region.
