The Arab League condemns the continued blatant Iranian aggression against the State of Kuwait

Cairo, Sept 4 (KUNA) -- The Arab League on Friday condemned the ongoing blatant Iranian aggression against Kuwait, most recently the missile and drone attack it suffered yesterday, affirming its complete rejection of any infringement on the sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity of an Arab state. In a statement, the League expressed its full solidarity with Kuwait and its support for the measures it is taking to safeguard its security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, emphasizing the danger of continued targeting of Arab states’ territories and its consequences, which include escalating tensions and undermining efforts to contain regional escalation. The League reiterated its opposition to the transfer of conflicts and military confrontations to Arab states’ territories or exposing their peoples, facilities, and assets to danger, calling for an immediate halt to these attacks and for respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Arab states, as well as for international law and the UN Charter.
