Convening of the Fifth Round of Political Consultations between the Kuwaiti and Italian Ministries of Foreign Affairs in Rome

Kuwait City, Sept 3 (KUNA) -- The fifth round of political consultations between the Kuwaiti and Italian ministries of foreign affairs took place today in Rome, the capital of Italy. The Kuwaiti side was led by Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Hamad Al-Mushaan, while the Italian side was headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Edmondo Cirielli.

The Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the consultations addressed bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways to enhance and develop them across various fields, alongside discussions of the latest developments on the regional and international fronts. It added that the consultations reflected both sides’ commitment to strengthening bilateral ties and continuing coordination and exchange of views on issues of mutual interest. (End) A.A. / A.M.H.
