Customs Authority Chief Discusses with Pakistani Ambassador Strengthening Cooperation and Exchange of Expertise

Kuwait City, Sept 3 (KUNA) – The Director General of the General Customs Authority, Yousef Al-Nuwaime, held talks today, Thursday, with Dr. Zafar Iqbal, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Kuwait, to explore ways of enhancing cooperation and coordination in customs matters.

In a statement, the General Customs Authority said the meeting addressed several topics of mutual interest, particularly strengthening the exchange of expertise and information to facilitate procedures and support the smooth flow of trade between the two countries.

It added that the visit aligns with the Authority’s commitment to expanding areas of cooperation with diplomatic missions and developing communication and coordination channels to serve shared interests and consolidate bilateral relations.

Attendees at the meeting included Saleh Al-Omar, Deputy Director General of the General Customs Authority for Ports and Customs Investigation and Inquiry, along with the delegation accompanying the Pakistani ambassador. (End) E.G.R./A.M.H.
