By Mohammed Al-Bedah, Paris – 2-9 (KUNA) – Two experts praised the success of the Global Investment Summit 2026, which concluded today, Wednesday, particularly for bringing creative minds together in one place to research and discuss many important issues, alongside signing several prominent commercial deals.

Engineer Wael Al-Najidi, one of the owners of the UK-based technology company “E Studio Plus,” told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) in a statement after the summit’s closing ceremony, “Frankly, the summit exceeded my expectations, despite my prior assumptions, especially today due to the issues and topics discussed during the working sessions, which were highly interesting and engaging.”

Al-Najidi commended the opportunity the summit provided him, which included meeting distinguished figures, saying in this regard, “I met with brilliant minds; the meetings were a remarkable experience.” He pointed out that the participating entities, especially companies, were distinguished, emphasizing that “foreign investment is one of the vital elements and advantages for the economies of the Arab Gulf states.”

Al-Najidi had participated on the first day of the summit in a working session titled “Europe Leads the Rollout: Artificial Intelligence at Scale in the Real Economy.”

For her part, Dr. Huda Al-Fardous, a specialist in investment, privatization, and public-private partnerships, said, “For me, the selection of speakers was highly successful and also amazing across all sessions. In every session, there were figures worth listening to.”

She explained, “The selection of prominent figures with extensive expertise undoubtedly contributes to enhancing personal expertise. Whether you are a speaker or an attendee, you will enjoy this summit.”

She considered the commercial agreements concluded between countries and various entities “a very positive development, and it was wonderful to hear such news.”

It is worth noting that Dr. Huda participated on the second day of the summit in a working session on “Artificial Intelligence and the New Model for Financing Treatments.”

The summit concluded its proceedings in the French capital, Paris, earlier today, after two days of discussions, dialogues, and investment meetings that brought together an elite of investors, decision-makers, business leaders, and experts from various countries around the world. The program focused on the future of investment, global economic transformations, and opportunities linked to promising sectors.

The summit’s agenda included a number of main sessions, specialized dialogues, workshops, and bilateral meetings that discussed capital flows between global markets and the future of investment in technology, industry, energy, sustainability, artificial intelligence, health, biotechnology, tourism, hospitality, the cultural and creative economy, as well as several files related to the future of cities, infrastructure, and the digital economy.

The summit concluded with a number of agreements concluded by participating entities and companies, aimed at expanding cooperation areas, building new investment partnerships, and enhancing opportunities for joint ventures in several priority sectors, thereby supporting the transformation of the meetings and discussions hosted by the summit into developable projects and executable pathways.

The Global Investment Summit received media patronage from Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Al-Eqtisadiah newspaper, Qatar’s Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper, Oman’s Al-Ru’yah newspaper, Kuwait’s Al-Siyasa newspaper, and Bahrain’s Al-Bilad newspaper, reflecting the interest of Gulf and Arab media in the summit’s outcomes and its investment themes.
