Al-Salam Charitable Organization hosts an exhibition to distribute school bags and uniforms to students from needy families

By Salman Al-Mutairi (Photojournalist) Kuwait, 2 Sep (KUNA) – In a move reflecting the efforts of Kuwait’s charitable sector to localize its operations and reinforce values of solidarity, compassion, and mutual support among members of society, Al-Salam Association for Humanitarian and Charitable Works is hosting, starting today Wednesday and lasting for four days, an exhibition to distribute school bags and uniforms to students from needy families. The exhibition, held in cooperation and coordination with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Affairs at the headquarters of the Islamic World Charity Organization in Jahra, aims to ensure that initiatives and assistance reach the eligible categories. Such initiatives exemplify forms of community solidarity that renew themselves as the new academic year approaches, contributing to alleviating financial burdens on families and supporting them in providing their children’s basic needs, thereby enhancing students’ readiness to return to classrooms in an atmosphere of stability and care. Moreover, their impact extends beyond material aid, bringing joy and reassurance to families and their children, while supporting students at the start of a new academic year and consolidating the role of Kuwaiti charitable work as an active community partner in meeting needs and achieving sustainable humanitarian impact.
