Five Palestinians injured in Israeli occupation airstrike south of Gaza Strip
Gaza, Feb 9 (KUNA) -- Five Palestinians were injured today, Wednesday, as a result of an Israeli occupation aerial strike that targeted a tent housing displaced persons in the city of Asd’aa, west of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip. Gaza Strip health authorities stated in a press release that ambulance crews managed to transport the injured to Kuwait Specialist Hospital and Nasser Hospital for treatment, describing their injuries as “critical.” For their part, eyewitnesses told the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the strike caused severe damage and destroyed much of the displaced persons’ property in the targeted camp. Israeli occupation forces have been continuously firing at several displaced persons’ camps near the “Yellow Zones,” controlled by the Israeli army and covering more than 60 percent of Gaza’s area, since early hours of today.
