Arab World Institute and Volunteers of France Sign Agreement to Enhance Volunteer Exchange Between France and Arab Countries

Paris, January 9 (KUNA) -- The Institut du Monde Arabe (Arab World Institute) and the organization Volunteers of France signed an agreement aimed at enhancing the exchange of volunteers between France and Arab countries, with a view to strengthening ties between civil society organizations and facilitating the exchange of expertise and knowledge.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Institute said that the agreement, signed on Monday, seeks to regulate cooperation between the two parties on international volunteering for exchange and solidarity, with special attention to the principle of reciprocity.

The statement added that the agreement also opens up possibilities for developing volunteer programs in both directions by hosting young people from partner countries in French organizations. For the Arab World Institute, this partnership will enable it to strengthen cooperation with young professionals and talents from the Arab world by involving them in its teams and projects.

For its part, Volunteers of France will open a new framework for cooperation with the Institute, which is considered one of the most important French institutions concerned with relations between France and the Arab world. (End) M.B. / R.J.
