President of the Shooting Federation Praises the Brilliance of Kuwaiti Shooters at the Italian Federation Championship

Kuwait City, August 31 (KUNA) – Duaij Al-Otaibi, President of the Kuwaiti and Arab Shooting Federations and head of the Kuwait shooting delegation, praised Kuwaiti shooter Talal Al-Turki for securing first place in the trap shooting events at the Grand Prix, organized by the Italian Shooting Federation with the participation of 740 shooters from various countries.
In a press statement on Monday, Al-Otaibi said that the Kuwaiti national team successfully concluded its participation in the Grand Prix for clay pigeon shooting (Nando Rossi), held in Italy this week. This followed a training camp for the team as part of the preparation plan for Kuwaiti shooters’ participation in the upcoming Asian Games in Japan in September.
He added that the tournament, organized by the Italian Shooting Federation, witnessed the superiority of Kuwaiti shooters, with Talal Al-Turki claiming first place. He was honored by International Shooting Sport Federation Senator Luciano and by the Italian firearms manufacturing company Beretta, reflecting the capability and standing of Kuwaiti shooters.
Al-Otaibi extended his thanks to Minister of State for Youth and Sports Affairs Dr. Tariq Al-Jalahma and Director General of the Public Authority for Youth and Sports Bashar Abdullah for their continuous support of Kuwaiti shooting, emphasizing that their material and moral support played the most significant role in achieving these accomplishments and hoisting the Kuwaiti flag high on the global stage at all levels.
