Global Investment Summit Kicks Off in Paris Tomorrow with Over 80 Speakers and 2,000 Participants
Paris, August 31 (KUNA) -- The World Investment Summit 2026 kicks off tomorrow in the French capital, Paris, with more than 80 international speakers and experts, approximately 2,000 participants, and 40 bilateral meetings as part of a program rich in dialogue sessions and specialized meetings. The summit, scheduled for tomorrow and the day after, attracts investors, business leaders, officials, experts, and representatives of major global companies and institutions to discuss the transformations underway in global capital flows and markets, as well as the future of investment in technology, energy, tourism, health, the creative economy, and sustainability, alongside emerging sectors that are reshaping the global investment opportunity landscape.
Among the prominent participants in the summit’s sessions are Princess Nouf Mutasim Al Saud, Director of Decision Support and International Partnerships at the Tourism Development Fund; Vitoria Bakalli Dalipi, Minister of Environment and Spatial Planning of Kosovo; former Spanish Foreign Minister Ana Palacio; and Marco Rago, Advisor to the Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs for Economic Diplomacy and Development, and Special Envoy for International Water Policies.
Also participating are Mario Centeno, former President of the Eurogroup and former Portuguese Minister of Finance; Adrian Benelli from Eurazeo; Ivan de Lastours from Bpifrance; Matthew Dringwater from the London College of Fashion; Dr. Huda Al-Fardous from Sarat Investments Group; and strategic advisor Dr. Sarah Al-Faisal.

Discussions during the sessions are expected to cover several topics, including “The Trillion-Dollar Race for AI Computing Power,” “Water: The Hidden Infrastructure of the AI Era,” “The Next Sovereignty Race: Quantum Computing,” “Maintaining the Appeal of Climate Investment: Energy Transition and the Nuclear Renaissance,” “Climate, Sustainability, and the Green Investment Agenda,” and “Climate and New Environmental Diplomacy.”
The summit aims to direct 25 percent of investments toward modern technologies and adopt environmental, social, and governance (ESG) sustainability standards in 55 percent of targeted projects, thereby enhancing the development of more efficient and sustainable projects capable of delivering long-term economic impact.
Data from the summit indicate expected European investment flows to Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries totaling $28.59 billion, alongside the development of 15 joint projects and the establishment of eight strategic partnerships during the first year, opening new pathways for investment in clean energy, infrastructure, and sustainability-related technologies.
