Washington, Aug 31 (KUNA) -- U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced on Monday that it carried out a “precise and limited” operation against Iranian Revolutionary Guard forces that posed a threat to freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz. CENTCOM stated in a press release that its forces conducted the “precise and limited” operation against Revolutionary Guard units that were laying mines and posed an imminent threat in the Strait of Hormuz.
