Real Madrid secured the match in the first half, with British player Jude Bellingham opening the scoring in the 19th minute. The second goal came from an own goal by Malaga goalkeeper Alfonso Herrera, who accidentally sent the ball into his own net in the 26th minute. In the 30th minute, French forward Kylian Mbappe added a third goal for the home side, and Turkish midfielder Arda Guler sealed the victory with a fourth goal in the first minute of stoppage time.
