(Meteorology Authority): Hot and humid weather with a chance of light rain at night
Kuwait City, Aug 30 (KUNA) – The Acting Director of the Meteorology Department, Darar Al-Ali, said that the country is experiencing extremely hot and relatively humid weather along the coast today, Sunday, with a chance of light rain overnight, noting that the maximum temperature reached 50 degrees Celsius. Al-Ali told the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that relative humidity will decrease tomorrow, Monday, with extremely hot weather continuing and moderate northwesterly winds, and the maximum temperature will reach 47 degrees Celsius. He noted that the country will experience extremely hot conditions in the coming days, with activity from northwesterly winds stirring up dust in some exposed areas. He forecast that the weather will be hot on Tuesday, the day after tomorrow, with a chance of dust, while Wednesday and Thursday will also be hot, with noticeable activity from dust-stirring winds, and maximum temperatures ranging between 44 and 45 degrees Celsius. He urged citizens and residents to avoid direct exposure to sunlight during peak hours, drink plenty of water, and exercise caution regarding the expected dust in the middle of the week. (End) Z.H.R
