Riyadh, August 30 (KUNA) -- The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia expressed its condemnation and rejection of the events that took place in Niamey, the capital of the Republic of Niger, affirming its solidarity with the government and people of Niger against any attempt to undermine their security and stability. The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement, reaffirmed the Kingdom’s support for efforts aimed at preserving the security, sovereignty, and integrity of the Republic of Niger, safeguarding it from the interference of rebel groups, and wishing lasting peace and prosperity for Niger and its people.
