Death Toll Rises to Three Palestinians in New Israeli Assault on Gaza

Gaza, August 29 (KUNA) -- The health authorities announced on Saturday that the number of Palestinian martyrs had risen to three since early morning. In press statements, the authorities said the increase came after a Palestinian was martyred and three others were injured, including one in critical condition, as a result of an Israeli occupation forces’ airstrike that targeted an electric scooter in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood in southwestern Gaza City. The authorities added that another Palestinian was martyred by occupation forces’ fire in the northern part of the Strip, while three women were injured in an airstrike that targeted a pharmacy above the administration building at Al-Shahid Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza Strip. Earlier on Saturday, health authorities in Gaza announced the martyrdom of a farmer during an Israeli occupation drone strike on the city while he was working in his agricultural land east of Deir al-Balah. These attacks are part of the ongoing Israeli occupation aggression on the Gaza Strip, which has resulted in daily casualties and injuries in various areas of the Strip, with new violations adding to a series of occupation breaches of the ceasefire agreement.
