Kuwait defeats Jordan in the classification round of the Asian Junior Handball Championship

Kuwait City, August 29 (KUNA) – The Kuwaiti junior national handball team defeated their Jordanian counterparts 25-23 on Saturday in the classification matches for fifth to eighth place at the 11th Asian Championship, which serves as a qualifier for the 2027 Junior World Handball Championship, held in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Despite trailing 12-13 at halftime, the “Blue Hands” players overcame themselves in the second half, turning the score around to secure the victory. Kuwaiti player Abdulhadi Barak was named the match’s best player.
