English League: Liverpool draws 2-2 with Nottingham Forest

London, August 29 (KUNA) -- Liverpool settled for a 2-2 draw against visiting Nottingham Forest in their match on Saturday, as part of the second round of the English Premier League.

The visitors took the lead in the 24th minute through Swiss striker Dan Ndoye, before Swedish striker Alexander Isak equalized for the hosts in the 60th minute.

Forest regained the lead when English player Morgan Gibbs-White scored the second goal in the 70th minute from a penalty kick.

With eight minutes remaining in regular time, Spanish player Victor Munoz scored the second equalizer, allowing both teams to share the points.

This was Liverpool’s second draw from two matches, leaving them in 10th place with two points, while Nottingham Forest sit 12th with one point. (End) M.R.N. / N.S.A.
