Russian Ministry of Defense: Destruction of 313 drones and targeting of logistics centers and ports in Ukraine

Moscow, August 29 (KUNA) -- The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Saturday that its air defense systems destroyed 313 Ukrainian drones overnight across several Russian regions, while its forces carried out strikes on logistical centers, ports, and storage facilities used to support Ukrainian troops. In a statement, the ministry said the Russian strikes targeted logistical centers in the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, and its surrounding region, including a facility believed to be used for storing components of Flamingsho missiles, as well as sites in Kalinovka and the ports of Izmail and Mykolaiv, which included facilities for storing equipment, fuel, and military supplies. It added that Russian forces also targeted a warehouse allegedly containing ammunition and drone components, and destroyed Ukrainian observation posts in the Kharkiv region. Meanwhile, the ministry reported that four people were killed and 19 others injured in multiple Ukrainian drone attacks targeting the Sevastopol, Belgorod, and Rostov regions, and that a logistical facility belonging to the Russian e-commerce company Ozon was hit by a drone. On its part, Ukrainian authorities announced explosions in the Odesa, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Kyiv regions, and damage to an energy infrastructure facility in the Mykolaiv region, as the two sides continued their reciprocal aerial attacks.
