Kuwait national team defeats Nepal (88-65) in FIBA Asia Cup qualifiers

Dubai, August 28 (KUNA) – The Kuwaiti senior men’s national basketball team defeated Nepal 88-65 on Friday in their third match of Group A in the preliminary qualifiers for the 2029 FIBA Asia Cup, held in Dubai. With this result, “Blue Basketball” secured its second victory in the qualifiers, following an opening win over Oman (88-63) before suffering a narrow three-point loss to the United Arab Emirates (72-75). Group A comprises the national teams of Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Oman, and Nepal.
