Egyptian Foreign Minister and Senior U.S. Presidential Advisor Discuss Developments in Sudan

Cairo, Aug 28 (KUNA) -- Egyptian Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Abdelatty held talks today, Friday, with Mas’ad Boulus, Senior Advisor to the U.S. President for Arab and African Affairs, on developments in Sudan. The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that the discussion took place during a phone call in which both sides reviewed regional and international efforts aimed at supporting security and stability in Sudan. Abdelatty and Boulus emphasized, according to the statement, the importance of continuing efforts to support Sudan’s sovereignty and to reach a political solution that safeguards its unity and territorial integrity and ensures an end to the suffering of civilians.
