Three Palestinians martyred in Israeli occupation airstrike south of Gaza Strip

Gaza, August 28 (KUNA) -- Three Palestinians were martyred and several others were injured today, Friday, in an airstrike carried out by an Israeli occupation drone on a group of civilians in the Al-Qarara area in northern Khan Younis governorate, southern Gaza Strip.

The health authorities in the Gaza Strip said in a statement that three martyrs arrived at Nasser Medical Complex in pieces, torn apart by the violent strike that targeted them while they were near their home in the Al-Qarara area. It added that two of the martyrs were brothers, while the third was related to them, noting that they were killed instantly by the strike. Ambulance crews rushed to the scene and transported the martyrs and the injured to Nasser Medical Complex.

For his part, eyewitnesses told the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the targeting was carried out by a “Quadcopter” drone near the Al-Matahneen area in Al-Qarara.

Israeli occupation forces continue to target scattered areas in the Gaza Strip amid ongoing shelling and airstrikes on civilians, in a persistent violation of the ceasefire agreement. (End) WAB / T.M.A
