Kuwaiti oil barrel price rises by $2.80 to reach $84.56

Kuwait City, August 28 (KUNA) -- The price of a barrel of Kuwaiti crude oil rose by $2.80 to reach $84.56 per barrel in Thursday’s trading, compared with $81.76 per barrel in the previous day’s session, according to the price announced by the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation. In global markets, Brent crude futures rose by $1.86 to reach $89.70 per barrel, while West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures in the United States fell by $1.30 to $83.53 per barrel.
