Bahrain welcomes the announcement of the merger of (SDF) into Syrian state institutions

Manama, August 26 (KUNA) -- The Kingdom of Bahrain welcomed today, Wednesday, the announcement of the integration of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and all their military and civilian formations into the institutions of the Syrian state. In a statement, the Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs described this as an important step in supporting the unity of the Syrian Arab Republic, enhancing its sovereignty and territorial integrity, and consolidating the rule of law and institutions. The ministry reaffirmed Bahrain’s firm and supportive stance toward the security, stability, sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity of the Syrian Arab Republic, as well as the completion of its constitutional institutions, in a manner that meets the aspirations of its people for security, stability, coexistence, and sustainable prosperity, and restores its active role in its Arab and international environment.
