Registration opens for the Gulf Made 2026 Forum and Exhibition in Bahrain
Manama, August 26 (KUNA) -- The Bahraini Ministry of Industry and Commerce announced on Wednesday the opening of electronic registration for participation in the “Made in the Gulf 2026” Forum and Exhibition, which will be hosted by the Kingdom from October 6 to 8 next year under the patronage of Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, with the participation of leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
The three-day event, to be held at the Bahrain World Trade Center, brings together a high-level strategic forum and a specialized industrial exhibition, attracting senior government officials, industrial sector leaders, chief executive officers, manufacturers, investors, and experts from GCC countries and beyond, to consolidate “Made in the Gulf” as a unified industrial identity for the GCC states. The event also focuses on enhancing the presence and competitiveness of Gulf products, supporting their access to regional and global markets, and strengthening dialogue between governments and the private sector on priorities that shape the future of the Gulf industrial sector.
The bilateral business meetings program is one of the most prominent components of the forum and exhibition, bringing together manufacturers, investors, buyers, distributors, and funding entities in scheduled meetings that allow them to explore supply, distribution, and investment partnership opportunities directly with their counterparts from GCC countries and beyond.
The “Made in the Gulf 2026” Forum and Exhibition coincides with the meetings of the GCC Industrial Cooperation Committee and the GCC Trade Cooperation Committee, along with accompanying Gulf meetings, scheduled to be held in Manama in early October 2026, under the chairmanship of the Kingdom of Bahrain. This alignment links the forum and exhibition’s activities to broader Gulf efforts to enhance industrial and trade cooperation and to the shared vision of GCC member states to promote economic and industrial integration, support sustainable industrial development, and consolidate the industrial sector as a key pillar of economic diversification.
The forum addresses several key themes, including industrial policies, regional value chains, supply chain resilience, access to global markets, financing mechanisms, smart manufacturing, advanced technologies, sustainability, and national capacity development. These topics will be explored through eight dialogue sessions featuring more than 40 speakers, including decision-makers and industrial sector leaders from GCC countries and beyond.
The accompanying exhibition showcases the leading products, technologies, and industrial solutions from GCC countries, particularly from the petrochemicals, chemical industries, aluminum, base metals, building materials, food processing, packaging, pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, electrical and engineering equipment, advanced industries, and composite materials sectors. This reflects the breadth of the Gulf industrial base and its growing export capabilities.
