Governor Mubarak Al-Kabeer praises the determination, perseverance, and excellence of the first journalist and broadcaster with disabilities at KUNA

Kuwait City, Aug 26 (KUNA) -- The Governor of Mubarak Al-Kabeer and the Governor of Hawalli praised Sheikh Sabah Bader Al-Sabah Al-Salim Al-Sabah for appointing Fátima Al-Salman, a Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) journalist and presenter with disabilities, today Wednesday, commending her role, distinction, and striking media presence.
Sheikh Sabah Al-Sabah said in a press statement following her award ceremony at the governorate’s general diwan that Fátima Al-Salman is an exemplary model reflecting strong willpower and determination to overcome challenges, emphasizing the importance of supporting and encouraging her to continue her career in the media field.
He noted that Al-Salman also serves as an inspiring role model for Kuwaiti nationals with disabilities, demonstrating professional capabilities to surmount obstacles and advance confidently and competently in the media sector.
He commended her efforts to continue working despite challenges, stating that her recognition embodies the political leadership’s support for national talents and the entrenchment of the principle of empowering persons with disabilities, highlighting their capabilities across various fields and sectors.
