Deputy Minister of Interior Chairs Leadership Meeting to Monitor Operations and Review Latest Developments

Kuwait City, 26 August (KUNA) – Assistant Minister of Interior Major General Abdulwahab Al-Wahayb chaired an expanded leadership meeting today, Wednesday, attended by Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs Major General Hamad Al-Munifi, Assistant Undersecretary for Supporting Security Services Affairs Major General Fawaz Al-Roumi, and heads of security sectors, to monitor operations across the ministry’s various sectors and review the latest developments.

The Ministry of Interior said in a press statement that at the outset of the meeting, Major General Al-Wahayb conveyed greetings from the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Youssef Al-Saud Al-Sabah. The two assistant undersecretaries and the heads of security sectors then presented the key operational updates within their respective areas of responsibility, outlining completed plans and tasks, alongside discussions on topics and recommendations related to improving work mechanisms and enhancing performance levels.

According to the statement, Major General Al-Wahayb directed the continuation of direct oversight of operations, emphasizing the need to expedite task completion, strengthen coordination and integration among sectors, ensure high-quality implementation, boost performance efficiency, and elevate the overall security work system.
