Israeli occupation forces carry out land clearance operations in southern Lebanon
Beirut, August 26 (KUNA) -- Israeli occupation forces carried out widespread land-clearing and demolition operations in southern Lebanon on Wednesday. The Lebanese National News Agency reported that the occupation army conducted artillery shelling and land-clearing operations in the town of Bani Hayan, alongside demolitions of several buildings in the town of Hulayhula in the Marjayoun area. The occupation forces also set fire to homes in the town of Beit Syad, in addition to carrying out explosions in the towns of Majdal Zoun, Mansouriya, and Braichit. This comes as the Israeli occupation army shelled the village of Doha Kafarman and the vicinity of Tell al-Dabsha, which has recently been subjected to repeated shelling. It is worth noting that Israeli occupation forces continue their operations of demolishing homes and burning land in several areas of southern Lebanon where they are stationed. (End) A.Y.B. / M.A.A.
