UAE Foreign Minister and Lebanese Prime Minister Discuss Bilateral Relations and Common Issues

Abu Dhabi, August 25 (KUNA) -- UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan held talks with Lebanese Prime Minister Dr. Nawaf Salam regarding fraternal relations, various aspects of cooperation and joint efforts, and the potential to enhance them in ways that serve the mutual interests of the two countries and bring benefits to their peoples. The Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported that this came during a telephone call received today, Tuesday, by Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed from the Lebanese Prime Minister, in which he commended the efforts undertaken by the Lebanese government to consolidate Lebanon’s security, stability, sovereignty, and territorial integrity. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed reaffirmed during the call the UAE’s full support for these efforts and its steadfast backing of the brotherly Lebanese people, contributing to realizing their aspirations for security, stability, development, and sustainable prosperity.
